I now own 5 of them have 2 more on order, two have wood pellets one has charcoal one has dog food one has salt melt for the driveway ordered 2 more to use to put in to my trailer for when we go camping totally awesome work great

This is a camping fixture for Dutch oven cooking. Perfect for storing & transporting charcoal briquettes. I have several of them for home & our Trail Life troop. Eliminates mess & I store newspaper in them too along with briquettes for starting my charcoal chimneys. Super sturdy & well made closing lid. Love it. I've read where folks are using it for pellet storage for their pellet grills, up to a 40lb bag, so I may have to try this next since I have a new pellet grill.

This caddy will hold a 40lb bag of pellets used for smokers I have. Now that I've had this for about 6 months, I have zero issues with moisture in the container, which was my biggest concern. I have no issues with pouring. The lid will snap back out of the way when pouring pellets in to the smoker. I have no complaints at all

Looked everywhere for a product like this and couldnt find anything but this out there. Now I know why - this fits my need perfectly, works well at holding a great deal of charcoal, and kept it dry through a hurricane. It was offered at a good price and is designed well. Charcoal can easily be poured directly from the dispenser with no mess and no scoop needed using a well placed handle on the back side. I love it!

You'll need to do is not open the bag until you're ready to use the charcoal because you will need to pour some off to get the lid on the bin. The next step is the key to it all. Before opening the bag, gently tip the bag over so the top is on the ground. Now work the bin over the bottom of the bag. Slowly invert the bag and the bin allowing the charcoal and the bag to slide into the bin (take your time on this step and gently shake the bin and the bag so as not to break the charcoal, let gravity do the work). Set the bin upright and open the bag. Now add charcoal to your grill. Cut the excess bag off leaving 1 - 2" above the rim and snap the lid in place. The 20# bags of B&B fit without needing to pour off any of the charcoal.
